Camel Fringe Coat

Hey, hey, hey feeling like a renegade! Excuse my lyrical start but I have Renegades by X ambassadors stuck in my head.

Any who, I had promised this look posted a while back on my Instagram @cristinamonti, I might of said a little white lie only because I was so excited to share this look with you guys. Unfortunately, I got caught up with preparations for my vacation and had no time to post.

If you didn’t know I was in Dominican Republic last week, spent some time away with my boyfriend and his family. I’ll be making a compilation of pictures from my vacation this week so if you haven’t seen the pictures on my Instagram, you’ll get to see it all here.

To my surprise, when I landed from the Caribbean there was barely any snow left on the ground. This look was taken right before departing to the south. This outfit is the chicest look I have yet to pull off in the wintertime.

It’s not too difficult to dress well in negative degree weather, all you’ll need is to try a little extra harder to put some good layering pieces together. As I mentioned in my previous post, layers are KEY and also really good outerwear, oh and accessories. Basically, in the wintertime, people will stop and stare if you have a statement jacket and cool accessories like a killer pair of boots or huge tuque / gloves and then finish it all off with a huge pair of shades. Totally channeling my inner Olivia Palermo / Victoria Beckham in this look.

If you guys have any questions on how to pull off a cool winter look or need inspiration, feel free to comment below and I’ll be happy to help out in any way that I can.

Wishing you a great rest of week!
