I have to say, I really do love a good music festival and guys Osheaga’s a fucking good one. I’ve attended several music festivals, including Coachella, although nothing quite compares to Osheaga. I don’t know what it is, I could very well be biased cus after all Montreal is my hometown. I also do get to run in to so many of my friends and accountancies or I’m just a huge sucker for music festivals, plain and simple. I guess we’ll never know.
What I do know for certain’s is that I love the variety in music, stages, people.. It’s just overall such a good vibe. Everyone’s friendly and you feel as though you’re surrounded by such good energy. There’s no judgement at Osheaga, everyone just wants to enjoy the moment, music, company of others and have a fucking good time. (forgive my cursing)
It’s my 3rd year attending now and it just seems to get better and better with every year. Here are the looks I wore to Osheaga, you can view both looks up on my Instagram @cristinamonti.
Putting these looks together was a no brainer. My first look was a pair of black One Teaspoon shorts paired with the cutest Nasty Gal body suit and the most amazing fanny pack and shades by Michael Kors. I’ve mentioned this several times but I kid you not accessories are EVERYTHING. For both looks, the accessories are really what made them stand out.
I wore Kendall & Kylie’s black leather boots on both days, I skipped the last day since I wanted to spend some quality time with my loved ones and a little recovery period doesn’t hurt.
Look for Day 2 was so easy, I bought this Free People romper on sale at Bloomingdale’s on Thursday while I was away in Florida. Once again the accessories and little details such as the flash tattoo down my spine is what completed the look. As you can see, I used a thin Club Monaco scarf to wrap around my head as an accessory.
