HOMETOWN GETAWAY

Arrived at the W hotel in my trusty Mackage black trench, ready to turn my mental chill mode ON. Upon entering the tall glass doors, signature for the hotel, I was greeted by  the kind receptionist. Excited by my arrival, she quickly handed me the keycards that granted me entrance to my beautiful suite.

To my surprise, a beautiful red gift bag awaited me on my bed. Delighted by it’s contents, I quickly emptied it overwhelmed in excitement. Laid on the bed, were now several gifts including, bliss body products (my fave, pictured above), a lime&coffee body scrub (pictured above) for my bath on the following day, a scented candle, a fish-eye lens for my iPhone, and a portable phone charger (how thoughtful, they know a blogger needs her phone charged at all times).

After settling in, I headed out to the city for some fun shopping and date night with my man.

After a blissful night’s rest, I woke to an even better morning. There’s nothing quite like breakfast in bed, what a treat! I know, how amazing do the waffles look? They tasted even better than expected. They literally melted in my mouth. The sides (bacon, croissant, yogourt with fruits (no pictured)) added great saltiness to my sweet meal and as most of you might already know, I’m a tea person.

My 24hr stay consisted of me working on some upcoming content for you guys, indulging delicious food, relaxing in my free standing tub, and enjoying a much needed pedicure.

I’d like to thank The W Hotel for my relaxing and welcoming stay. I would most definitely recommend this hotel to any person visiting the city of Montreal. Not only is the staff so kind and welcoming, it’s location is in the heart of the downtown area, which makes it the perfect entertaining stay.

Would love to know if you live in the city of Montreal or if you’ve ever visited. Leave a comment below with your thoughts on this hotel or share which hotels are your favourite. Can’t wait to read about your favourite hotels and experiences.

Wishing you all a beautiful weekend!
