Osheaga, that time of year in Montreal has just passed and was a success yet again, minus the semi rain showers. If you guys haven’t guessed it based off of my recent Instagram posts, I’m referring to festival season.
From what I can remember, I’ve attended Coachella, Electric Zoo, Ile Soniq, Ultra and obviously Osheaga. After experiencing various themed festivals, I can without a doubt say Osheaga is my favourite. Lollapalooza and burning man still remain on my “must attend music festival at least once in my life” list.
Here are some of the few reasons I enjoy Osheaga music festival. It’s located in my home town. They always have killer artist line ups. I find myself surrounded by friends and some of the friendliest, coolest and most real people.
This year, much like last year, I luckily once again had the privilege of working with Michael Kors. I still can’t believe it!
I wore the prettiest bell sleeve lace dress, harland ankle leather boots in coffee, the moroccan leather messenger bag in acorn and the lon rounded aviator sunglasses in red reflector. Double belted the entire look in Michael Kors belts as well.
Chose to go with this bell sleeve lace dress since, it’s the epitome of festival attires. When it comes to festivals, I love anything cropped, with lace, leather and the obvious final choice of preference, denim.
In my opinion, the way to knock festival dressing out of the park depends on two factors. You can either make the outfit the centre of attention like the gorgeous dress I’m wearing in these images. Or, you can sport a basic pair of denim shorts and tee, making the accessories the main attraction. At the end of the day, when it comes to festivals, your look will definitely make more of an impact if your accessories are on point, regardless of which look option you choose to wear.
When it comes to this particular outfit, I couldn’t of worn a better pair of sunnies, belt, cross-body bag or booties! These accessories were pretty much made for festival dressing. Combined all together, they really gave my attire that oomph element. They had the right amount of pop and edge required to make any festival look bomb!
Once upon a time, I was that girl who dreamt of working with brands like Michael Kors and thanks to you guys I get to live these dreams every single day.
If I could hug each and everyone one of you for your constant support, I swear I would. For now, thank you so freaken’ much will have to do!
