New York Fashion Week. Hey babes, in this post you’ll find my favourite fall trends that I also showcased during New York Fashion Week. I’m so happy I finally came around to sharing my looks with you.
My first day of New York Fashion Week consisted of a few presentations. I say this with a ton of anguish, I missed them due to complete miscalculation of time, classic Cristina move. When we landed, there happened to be an abundant amount of traffic followed by a bunch of complications upon arrival at our hotel. Moral of the story and lesson of the trip, always plan to arrive in a city / location WAY ahead of time.
For my first day / look, I went for a fairly casual outfit. I wanted to feel comfortable, edgy, chic as per usual. Hence, the sweater over dark denim skirt belted look was created. The Louis Vuitton combat heel boots aren’t too bad either. I got them while in Italy back in August.
This look can be worn with sneakers for a more casual feel. Every girl definitely needs a khaki sweater in their closet. I could die over this versatile one. I could already see myself rocking it this winter with a cool pair of leather pants and stiletto booties.
My second day of New York Fashion Week, I wore once again a sporty chic and edgy look, I guess that’s my go-to style now. I wore a leather bralette over an off the shoulder bralette and snapback pants by Kendall + Kylie. I elevated the entire look with my Saint Laurent pumps.
I’m in love with the on going sportier trend. As seen in many of this year and last year’s fashion shows, sportswear has become far more high fashion and I’m so into it. One of my current favourite brands would have to be Fenty X Puma and the fashion show did not disappoint. There were motocross bike riders high jumping in the middle of the runway show, it was quite the showstopper. Rihanna obviously killed it, but when doesn’t she!? She’s one of my favourite artists, along with Banks and Halsey.
My third day of New York Fashion Week look consisted of a patent leather vibrant red skirt, which I previously wore back in March when there was snow on the ground.
Patent leather seems to be a seasonal reoccurring trend, currently in love with these patent black pair of pants by H&M. A classic white shirt, whether it be short or long sleeve, never goes out of style. Every girl needs a good crisp white shirt in their wardrobe.
I paired Gucci socks with my new Sigerson Morrison boots. I’m completely obsessed with my new boots (click on image of the boots to shop right under this paragraph) and will be wearing them for the majority of Fall and Winter. I highly recommend getting your hands on a pair, they’re extremely versatile and the height of the heel really gives my back and feet a break from the classic stiletto. I look chic all while keeping some level of comfort.
On my fourth day and for my last look, I wore a gorgeous curdoroy skirt and striped balloon sleeve shirt, which I decided to tie at the centre and wear off the shoulder. I love playing with my clothes and styling them otherwise than intended. Completed my look with a pair of patent leather booties and my stunning Chanel boy bag.
